48th international assizes come together of the francophone press

This 19 November at the Hilton Hotel journalist from all over the world under the international francophone press assembled to exchange on the theme  »Journalism d’émotion, Journalism d’information  ».

At the occasion of this 48th edition several members of cameroonian government, journalist from several media organs innthe world assembled to launch this come together which will take place from the 18th to the 22nd November 2019. Ceremony which saw it’s launch by the prime minister head of government followed by other members of UPF.

Joseph Dion Ngute, Prime minister head of Government

In his words he said  »I declare solemnly opened the 48th come together of the international francophon press ». He followed his speech by appreciating the UPF initiative to carry out the 48th edition of their come together in Cameroon, a project which is closely followed up by the President of the Republic. He ended by mentioning the liberty of press on the entire nation. Which is observed through the presence of a multiple number of media organs both in audiovisual, press and web.

Madiambal Diagne, International president UPF

Before his speech was that of the international president of UPF who mention his satisfaction for the gala match which was organized the day before against former lions footballers, he followed by mentioning the fact that this come together takes place 10 years after the first one which was done in 2009 in Cameroon. He says that with the 350 journalist presents they will be able to exchange under the topic « emotional journalism informative journalism », which is a topic which concerns not only journalist but consumers of information.

Aimé Robert Bihina, national President Upf

The president of UPF Cameroon in his opening speech at the Hilton hotel expresses his gratitude for this assembling of journalist from everywhere in the world to exchange on a topic which prevails today. In his words, traditional media is gradually been influenced by cyber journalism , where everyone calls himself journalist. He says 10 years after, Cameroon organises for the second time UPF come together and he says it will be a great opportunity for several persons to discover the beauty of the country.

At the end of this session a family picture was made by all the important personalities. The session will continue with an inaugural conference by Anne-Cécile Robert, Journalist.
